He is a vocal opponent of the Affordable Care Act, which has provided health care coverage for over 23 million Americans. Furthermore, Price traded stocks in several health care-related companies while in Congress, which may present a major conflict of interest as Secretary for Health and Human Services. Tom Price was born in Michigan where he attended medical school at the University of Michigan.
