Today is one of the most consequential days - little seems of greater importance than today's work against the AHCA. This is what all the protests and town halls were leading up to. We need 22 Republicans to vote "no" on TrumpCare. Latest we have heard is that 32 republicans are on the fence. The majority of these Republicans on the fence are in Blue States. We need your help to #killthebill.

TRUMP, NEBRASKA SHOWDOWN OVER KEYSTONE XL PIPELINE
This morning, Trump approved the Keystone XL Pipeline, reversing the Obama administration's decision. The pipeline now needs approval from the state of Nebraska before construction can begin.
In the words of NRDC President Rhea Suh, "Keystone XL is all risk and no reward for the American people. It remains, and always will be, a threat to our land, water and climate. Today's decision can never change those facts."

RUSSIAN TIES - YES, WE'RE BACK
With the House Intel Committee convening this week for the first public hearing on Russia, it has become clear that partisan politics cannot be set aside. Here’s what we learned:
- Comey disclosed that the FBI is investigating Russia interference in the campaign and what relationship the Trump campaign had in that interference;
- Comey confirmed that the FBI has no information to support Trump’s tweets that Obama took steps to “tapp my phones” during the election;
- Chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes, claimed earlier this week that conversations of Trump and his aides were picked up by American spies. Today, he backed off this assertion, saying instead that he can't be sure whether conversations among Trump or his aides were captured in the surveillance. Nobody is sure where Nunes got this information from.
There are clear calls for Rep. Nunes to step aside. If you agree, call your Members of Congress and ask them to put pressure on this.
The ACLU is calling on Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente to appoint a special prosecutor on Jeff Sessions and Russia. Contact information for Department of Justice: Department Comment Line: 202-353-1555.
