Yesterday, President Trump sent yet another ripple of intolerance around the world after complaining about people from Haiti and Africa and asking why the United States should accept immigrants from "shithole countries."

RISE Stronger condemns Mr. Trump's statement. His statements are divisive and full of hatred and bigotry. This is not the America we know, and not the leadership we need. We are deeply disappointed and call on the President to apologize and denounce his remarks.
