Did you know that Albuquerque Public Schools is one of the largest educational beneficiaries of the National Rifle Association in the country? Since 2010 Albuquerque Public Schools has accepted over $125,000 directly from the NRA, These funds directly buy supplies for the JROTC Programs that teacher our children how to use firearms.

Since the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool in Parkland, Florida countess politicians, corporations, businesses and school districts including our own Santa Fe public schools have cut ties with the NRA, it's time to add APS to that list.

Join Fight For Our Lives and the student organizers who led the Albuquerque March For Our Lives event for an evening of nonviolent direct action to demand that APS cut their ties with the NRA and get those dollars from a different source.

We will be meeting in front of the Albuquerque Public Schools headquarters at 4pm. Bring signs, water, and a loud chanting voice!
