This event aims to promote science education and science-backed decisions by our leaders. Please join us at the stage during the City of Las Cruces' Earth Day event. We will be awarding prizes to the high school essay contest winner and middle school poster contest winners.

The year's National March takes place on April 14, but for the local March, we decided to coordinate with the City of Las Cruces Earth Day events.

Tentative schedule:

9 am – Gathering at the Las Cruces Downtown Plaza

9 am to 9 -45 am : Sign/placard making.

9:45 to 10 am : Rallying and organizing for the march from the stage

10 am to 11am: Marching around Down Town (following the same route as that of 2017)

11 am to 11:30 am : Short 5 min speeches by scientists and local community leaders.

11:30 onwards: Poster judging for the Middle School Students.
