We oppose the cruel, inhumane, and unjustified separation of children from their families along the U.S. border and other points of entry. Join us on Saturday, June 30 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park as part of a national day of action to #KeepFamiliesTogether.
We protest the irreversible trauma that has already been perpetrated on these children and their parents for the crime of seeking a better life.
To separate immigrant families -- victims of violence, hunger and poverty -- is to re-violate them. Children as young as 18 months are torn from their mother's arms by the U.S. government. This is violent abuse. These families are victimized again by the government to which they turn for help.
This moment, this administration, this crisis at the border beckons the question: What side are you on? We must stand up against these crimes against humanity and the abuse of children directed by our own government. We must stand up. We must fight back. #FamiliesBelongTogether & immigrants are #HereToStay.
