This isn't a partisan issue. Children are not bargaining chips. They are human beings and this current policy - government abuse of children to try to deter their parents - is beyond cruel. It is a misguided policy that amounts to child abuse. We cannot sit by HOPING others will speak out!

WE need to make our voices heard.

These children need us! As a mom, as a human being, as someone with a beating heart and a conscience, I cannot take another minute of not doing SOMETHING to help these innocent children being used as pawns. It is simply heartbreaking and it must stop!

Tearing families apart is not the solution. It is a cruel and unusual punishment whose victims are blameless.

Please attend this peaceful rally on Saturday, June 30th, at 10:00am at Market Square Park on the corner of 25th and Lorain. Let our voices of outrage be heard!
